The CiNew (Cities and New Challenges) book series, privileging multidisciplinary approaches, brings together the results of research, studies and scientific contributions on the new spatial, environmental, social and economic challenges that arise, and to which timely and dedicated responses are to be given.
We live in the critical moment of transformations characterized by rapid dynamism and uncertainties. The need for transdisciplinary focus and insights into the ‘right’ and ‘complete’ understanding of the challenges essentially paves the ground for pertaining solutions. Therefore, the book series attempts dissect the challenges through the right lenses to offer unprecedented insights to interpreting the changes – whether undergone or planned- affecting the city of the third millennium.
The series hosts scholarly perspectives and reflections on topics of international scientific comparison, experiences and best practices, and strategies and methodologies being tested.
